Spectrum Swansea is a parent run group for the support of families of children with an Autistic Spectrum Disorder.
Our core activity is providing surfing lessons for Autistic children as this provides a great, safe and above all enjoyable way for these often excluded children to learn new skills both physically in terms of surfing, and also socially from interacting with other Autistic children, their siblings and parents/ carers.
Our kids rely entirely on the generous support of others to continue their weekly sessions. Please, if you can, support us with any amount big or small. We can accept donations online via our paypal account – details on the Who We Are page
A huge thank you to Rhian Parham who so kindly ran for Spectrum Swansea in the ‘Run to the Beat’ half marathon in London on Sunday the 26th September. So far Rhian's efforts have raised over £300 to support the group, but you can still help Rhian support us by giving generously to the group via the Running Rhian page which now has some photos from the event.
